Punla

 Umbuyan is typically a small corner store in town where elders converge to hear and talk about current local happenings. Conversations get lively while folks share some "salabat" (ginger tea), "pan-de-sal" (breakfast bread) or "lambanog" ( a locally distilled spirit). The Umbuyan is livelier with folks playing the Chinese checker and others strum the guitar as they sing a "Pitong Gatang"  folk song or a "Dahil sa Iyo" kundiman)
